    • Depends on your choice. If You are a General Candidate without any State domicile, it will not be any of these- Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Bhopal, Jodhpur, Gandhinagar, Raipur, Cuttack,Kochi.

  10. With a score of 105.5 does a candidate have a chance of getting through any of the cut off lists? Please provide your insight over this matter.
    Can a call from any of the colleges under CLAT can be expected for this score? Also what alternate colleges one can look at regional/national level.

    My rank is 514… Any idea where I can try and wangle a seat!? I know Bangalore and Hyderabad are out of the question, but Kochi perhaps?

    • nirma last year, without negative marking, had a cut off of a 113.. they have alot of seats so there is a chance…

  21. Haha! Yeah. Nalsar took 108th rank last year after all the lists.
    With 107th Rank, I’m really hoping to get in. 🙂

    • In 2012, NLUJ closed at AIR 368 whereas in 2011, it closed around 400. So, you have a chance & keep your fingers crossed.

    • Don’t rate HNLU highly since its a mediocre college. With 802, you would definitely make it to RML which is a better college than HNLU. Even though HNLU is an older college than RML it is screwed up highly. The cut off for HNLU drops considerably till the 4th list and after that they would open the admissions for everyone. I feel RML would be a much better abd decent choice as compared to the highly over-rated HNLU, Raipur.

    i can expect which college in the second list

  35. I am alloted in NLIU BHOPAL. I have reserved my seat through challan. I wanted to know if I have to send the CLAT copy challan to the university. I also wanted to know if I have to go to university to submit the necessary documents. plz help.

    i am frm genral category with no state quota.
    plz tell me can i expect any nlu .

    • HNLU, you may get after the 4th list. Although you would definitely bag CNLU, NUSRL, NLUO and NLUJA. Don’t worry, these colleges have big hearts. 🙂

  43. My rank is 860(marks 115.5). I have been allotted NLU Orissa in the first merit list. I have also payed rs. 50, 000/-.

    I want to wait for the second waiting list to know my options. I want to know if I still have the chance to confirm my admission with NLUO after the next list.

    I am thoroughly confused about this and would be glad to have the doubt clear.

    • Please check your rank (rank only) with the previous year allotment lists. The cutoffs are more or less the same year in terms of rank.
