yes it was…gujrat is a wrong answer..pretty sure..
i dont think there was option gujarat in Q no. 29 ……………..
the proclamation of transfer of capital was made on december 1911 user the reign of king george v
Logic was from MK Pandey (most of it). The English section had extracts from the leading national dailies like the Hindu, Economic Times etc (1 passage from Pune mirror as well). About 5-7 questions on analytical reasoning were previous years’ IAS prelims questions. Static GK was from Universal.
And many questions were the SAME as last year, especially legal. :/
gujarat is the state which leads in harnessing solar energy..but was it even in the options!??leaves only rajasthan!
This is a debatable issue as neither we nor any examiner can judge as to which state is better. Both states have contributed towards harnessing solar energy to the best possible extent. To avoid this confusion, the examiner hasn’t given Gujarat as an option. 🙂
And legal aptitude was copy-pasted from the last year’s papers. Even some of the logical and analytical reasoning questions. They didnt even bother changing the order of the options!
Question 29, Gujarat was not one of the options.
They were Himachal, Rajasthan and two other.
Which is a permanent house,
1.Lok sabha
2.Legislative assembly.
3.Parliament.
4.Rajya sabha.
answer is ?
Rajya Sabha. It can’t be dissloved.

Journalism, too.
. Name the first state to appoint ‘Lokayukta’. Maharashtra (1971) wasn’t that, it was the first state to pass the Lokayukta 2011 bill, which is Uttarakhand I think. They also asked under whose tenure was the capital shifted from Calcutta to Delhi (Lord Hardinge).
dere was no optn ,,,,gujrat! d ans is rajasthan 🙂
One of the questions given above is probably not in GK section.
Because one of the questions was like,
The library of Nalanda University, Dharma Gunj or Dharmaganja means?
The answer is, Mountain Of Truth. ( According to wiki.)
Yeah, the question about who can remove the governor was a part of legal knowledge!
Isn’t Q29 Rajasthan?
answer to Q29 should be Rajasthan

OMG really? Last year’s cut off was 105 or something so is it gonna be more than that?

Which state is first in solar power ??
do you remeber all the legal questions?
well I guess the answer to q no.29 is Gujarat. as I read some where that Gujarat would house the largest solar energy park in Asia in two years, with a power production capacity of 500 Mw. This would be set up with an investment of around Rs 8,000 crore flowing from companies such as GMR and Lanco, which have been assigned generation capacities under the Gujarat Solar Mission.
Dude. Gujrat wasn’t one of the answer options. Now choose. Rajasthan!
